On the 8th December Yellow House organised a benchball competition to raise money for their chosen charity Havant and East Hants Mind, who work to promote good mental health within the school and wider locality.
It was a real team effort - from organising to advertising and cake baking for the cake sale! Students stayed in school until 5pm the previous day baking cupcakes to sell and there were also several other bakes taking place in the houses of Yellow House students, as we prepared for our greatly anticipated charity event!
The tournament was very well attended and there were fantastic levels of participation across all year groups and all Houses. The atmosphere in the sports hall was electric and great fun was had by everyone. As always, it was fabulous to see students and staff working together so positively and enthusiastically to raise money for charity.
Many thanks to everyone who participated and ensured that our charity event was a real success. We are delighted to be able to announce that the grand total raised was £250.06
We’d like to thank all of the children and staff who helped in particular Yellow House and Miss Lissoni- Academic and Pastoral Leader for Yellow House
Our best wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all at the school.
