Christmas presents for patients

Every year ladies from Rowlands Castle WI collect presents on behalf of Havant and East Hants Mind, for in-patients who are staying in local acute mental health wards and care homes over Christmas.

We know that poor mental health can lead to isolation when in the community, but when on a ward or a care home, away from family friends and the outside world, receiving presents from the community, who just want to let them know that they are remembered and missed can be a great comfort.

 

We'd like to thank the WI ladies for all their efforts. The presents were delivered to Havant and East Hants Mind by Mrs Sandra White and Mrs Valerie Mitchell.
