We’d like to show our gratitude to the committee & members of Liss Royal British Legion (Rake Road, Liss) for organising & hosting a very successful Race Night event over the Easter weekend to raise money in aid of Havant and East Hampshire Mind.
With the support of the local community who took part in the race night and the great raffle the event raised £275 for Havant and East Hants Mind and also raised additional funds for other charities too. The RBL in Liss is an important part of the community and having local people from the committee and members (in particular our contact Karen Kemp) actually leading the fundraising is an important and symbolic recognition of the need to support better mental health in the area. To all our friends at Liss RBL we send the unreserved thanks of our Trustees, our staff, volunteers and of course our users.
