Chris Hunt Swimming Challenge
Huge thank you to Havant and Waterlooville Swimming Club who invited us along for their annual Chris Hunt Swimming Challenge at Waterlooville swimming pool.
“I was delighted to be invited to Havant and Waterlooville’s Chris Hunt Swimming Challenge. It was great to see so many local individuals and families coming together for a community event in Chris’ memory.
At Havant and East Hants Mind we work to promote good mental health supporting and empowering people to lead a full life as part of our local community. Clubs like Havant and Waterlooville Swimming and events such as the annual Challenge mean we and other charities over the years are/have been able to continue this important community work.
It was a privilege that this year the club chose to support Havant and East Hants Mind and we were delighted to blow the starting whistle at the event on Saturday 5th January. Everyone at HEH Mind would like to say a huge thank you to all who took part in the challenge or donated on Saturday, raising £563.58. Thank you.” – Mike Lock, Community Development Officer
