Are you starting Uni in West Sussex?

Following the successful completion of their time at City of Portsmouth College, HSDC and HSDC Alton, we have many young people in our communities moving or commuting to West Sussex this September to start their university courses.

Support in West Sussex
As students are preparing for their next steps we would like to introduce our friends at West Sussex Mind, who offer mental health and wellbeing support for young people aged 16 to 25.

We have Youth Mental Health Workers based in Chichester, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Worthing, Southwick and Chanctonbury.
We support young people who have low to moderate mental health issues and our aim is to provide them with the tools, via goal focused sessions, to manage and regulate their own well-being. Additionally, we will signpost them to more specialised services if needed.” – Sarah, Youth Mental Health Manager at West Sussex Mind

Young people can send a request for support via the West Sussex Mind website, or by calling their Help Point on 0300 303 5652 on Monday to Friday, 10am until 4pm or email [email protected]

Support in South and East Hampshire
If you are staying in the area, our Young People’s Team supports 11 to 17 years olds and our Adult Wellbeing Team supports those over 18. Find out more about the support, services, campaigns, projects and events happening in South and East Hants at easthantsmind.org
