Celebrating Our Volunteers

This week, we gathered at our Mental Health Hub in the Meridian Shopping Centre to celebrate and express our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated volunteers who make such a significant impact on our community. Hosted by our Community Team, the event was a wonderful opportunity to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our volunteers.

The celebration featured inspiring speeches from Richard Watts, Chair of Trustees at HEH Mind, and Maria Morrell, Deputy CEO of HEH Mind. Both speakers emphasized the crucial role that volunteers play in our charity and the positive difference they make in the lives of those we support through our free to access wellbeing and crisis services and community activity across South and East Hampshire.

We were also privileged to hear from one of our own volunteers, Bryan, who shared his personal experiences and insights about volunteering with HEH Mind. His experience highlighted the mutual benefits of volunteering and the sense of fulfilment it can bring.

During the event, we presented certificates to volunteers from various teams, including our Adult Services, Young People’s Services, Community, and Governance Teams. These certificates were a small token of our appreciation for their commitment and hard work. Special recognition was given to one standout volunteer from each area, acknowledging their exceptional dedication and service.

A huge thank you goes out to all our volunteers. Your time, efforts, insights, expertise, kindness, support, and leadership are deeply appreciated and make a significant difference in our community and services. This celebration was just a small way for us to express our gratitude for everything you do.

Thank you for being the heart and soul of HEH Mind. Your contributions help us continue to support and uplift those in need, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.
