Community and Fundraisng Service Update
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we are making changes to our fundraising and community activities and events.
We are however asking anyone experiencing symptoms of Corona Virus to follow Government advice and self isolate as per the information on the Government Website.
We are also advising all of our Community Team Ambassadors, Fundraisers and Supporters to follow Government advice in terms of social distancing and keeping safe. Therefore we advise against public campaigning activities (including handing out resources) in the current climate.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Community Team’s fundraising, campaigning or training, please contact the Team via email ([email protected]), our Head of Community Engagement is already in discussions with many of the relevant individuals.
Additionally as of today, Wednesday 18th March, all of our workplace and community training sessions are postponed as we identify how to deliver safely to workplaces and community groups/locations. Our Workplace and Training Manager is already contacting the relevant individuals to discuss the options available and to rearrange sessions.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the training and/or workplace wellbeing please contact the Team via email ([email protected]).
We understand that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic may cause anxiety and concern. If you want or need to find out more please read National Mind’s information page Coronavirus and your wellbeing
If you are experiencing emotional or mental health crisis in one of our communities please call the NHS First Response Service on 111, Option 2 or visit our I Need Help Now page for more support.
We (the Community Team) will be working remotely, but are still contactable.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
