Kenwood donates £5,000 to support local Mind Youth Safe Haven
Having already raised £15,591 for HEH Mind during their Charity of the Year Partnership during 2020 – 2022, De’Longhi Kenwood have again supported HEH Mind through their charity product sales organised by their Giving Something Back Team.
This time De’Longhi Kenwood employees chose to focus their donation on the children and young people’s Safe Haven.

This time De’Longhi Kenwood employees chose to focus their donation on the children and young people’s Safe Haven.
The Safe Haven provides a safe and confidential space for young people experiencing difficulty with their mental health or wellbeing to access immediate one-to-one emotional support, and take part in activities such as wellbeing activities, mindfulness, art & crafts and peer support. There is also a wellbeing discussion topic each week such as low mood, healthy relationships, relaxation, anxiety, body image and much more.
Young Person’s Safe Haven promotes a multiagency approach within safeguarding and supporting young people’s mental health. This includes communication between parents/caregivers, schools and other relevant organisations statutory and voluntary including counselling services, GPs, CAMHS and social services. This is done to safeguard, safety plan, discuss client cases and to provide consistent support.

Children and Young People’s Safe Haven is open to all 11 to 17 year olds living in Havant, East and South East Hants. Just drop in for face-to-face mental health support. There is no need to book an appointment before attending.
