Demonstrating our Commitment
We recognise the contribution that Service personnel, reservists, veterans, the cadet movement and military families make to our organisation, our community and to the country. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant by:
Engage with the Career Transition Partnership.
Promote awareness of housing and homelessness services among the Armed Forces Community.
Organise, facilitate, promote and/or take part in remembrance and other ceremonial activities.
We will publicise these commitments through our many different service communications, events, literature, social media and on our website, setting out how we will seek to honour them and inviting feedback from the Armed Forces Community and our customers on how we are doing.
We are thrilled to have been awarded our Pride in Veterans Standards accreditation by Fighting with Pride. Gaining this accreditation highlights our commitment to delivering the highest standards for LGBT+ inclusion to our users. We want to assure any LGBT+ veterans, serving personnel and their families, that they’ll be welcomed the same as any other user as an individual with unique experience and, safely, respectfully, and non-judgmentally.
